A Message From President Ashley

Welcome to 2017:

I first began my Jaycee career in March 2013 after my first meeting in Grand Rapids (MI) and never looked back. I transferred my membership to the North Columbus chapter in December 2015. Through the Jaycees, I have met countless friends, bought my first house with the help of a Jaycee Realtor, volunteered and chaired various projects benefiting the community, attended conferences, and continually growing as a leader.

This year, I am working alonside a fantastic board of directors. Congratulations to our 2017 Board of Directors. Our 2017 Team includes:

A few initiatives that our board and chapter plan to work on this year include:

Finalizing updates to our Chapter Bylaws | Accomplished in February 2017
Developing a North Columbus Jaycees Brand book and associated marketing materials
Updating new member packets
Continued update to our North Columbus Jaycees portal/website
Contintue partnerships47sponsorships with local organizations/businesses and build new partnerships/sponsorships as well

My personal motto for this year is Passion Forward. I truly have a passion for the organization, training, and graphic design that I will leverage this year and plan to leverage the BOD and member's passions to grow the organization.

Throughout the 2017 year, we have a variety of projects planned including our Easter Egg Hunt in April, Pig Roast in June, OSU Parking and Football throughout the fall, Thanksgiving Food Baskets in November and Residents Christmas Parties in December just to name a few. Do you have a project you would like to participate in or chair? We'd love to help out!

Our General Membership Meetings (1^st Tuesday of every month) and Professional Development Nights (3^rd Tuesday of every month) provide the most up to date information of all Jaycee happenings.

Let me know if you have any questions or are interested in joining the 2017 BOD Team. It will be an honor to serve you this year as North Columbus Jaycees President.
